From Paris, with Love

I collect memories, not souvenirs.

My name is Madeleine — traveler, cultural explorer, and storyteller based in Paris. This blog was born from a simple desire: to share the moments, places, and experiences that moved me — not just the destinations, but what lingers long after.

My Story

I grew up with a deep curiosity for the world — fascinated by the way art, landscapes, and history shape the soul of a place. That curiosity led me to study Tourism and work within the industry — in hotels both in Paris and the United States.

Welcoming travelers, listening to their stories, and helping craft their journeys taught me something simple: it’s not about how far we go, but what we carry back with us.

Why this blog?

I created this space for cultural reflections, slow travel stories, and honest experiences — the kind of travel writing that captures not just where we go, but how it makes us feel.

Here, I write about those moments we often forget to notice:

- The quiet beauty of a museum at dusk

- A walk along the water

- The peaceful feeling of discovering nature away from the crowds

Because I believe the most beautiful '' journeys are often the simplest — the ones that connect us deeply to a place and to ourselves.

My Values:

- Culture & nature first: Exploring heritage, landscapes, and the stories they hold

- Authenticity: No filters — just real moments and meaningful experiences

- Slow, intentional travel: Taking the time to truly see

What I bring:

With a background in tourism, hands-on experience in hospitality, and fluency in French, English, and Italian, I create content that bridges cultures — for travelers, locals, and brands alike.

On this blog, you’ll find:

- Personal stories from my solo travels

- Cultural itineraries and hidden gems

- Reflections on the meaning of travel and connection to nature

Let’s connect!

I’m open to collaborations, cultural or nature-based projects, and meaningful exchanges with those who share this passion.

Currently based in Paris — until the next journey,

Madeleine
